Mission Statement
Dedicated to empowering and inspiring plus-size and big and tall individuals to be their best selves, our organization is committed to fostering a community where social media is not a breeding ground for hate and low self-esteem. Our mission extends beyond addressing body obstacles; we aim to promote holistic well-being, including mental health. In addition to our initiatives such as annual fashion shows, model boot camps, empowerment photo shoots, mentoring programs, and showcasing designers, boutique owners, and stylists specializing in plus-size fashion, we are passionate about improving nutrition education and access to healthier foods.
We recognize that mental health is a crucial component of overall well-being. Therefore, we are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive space that not only celebrates diverse bodies but also prioritizes mental health awareness and support. Through educational programs, resources, and community outreach, we strive to break down stigmas surrounding mental health and provide avenues for individuals to seek help and support.

The Fashionable And Thick Foundation is on a mission to change the way society views body size. Our vision is to develop a strong alliance dedicated to empowering teens and adults, enabling them to carry our mission forward and positively influence others in the community. Together, we are committed to building a future where everyone can thrive, feel confident and beautiful, regardless of their size along with embracing their unique journey towards a healthier, more positive, and mentally resilient lifestyle.

Esteem: We promote esteem for all plus size individuals, recognizing that to do so we must seek to educate the powers that oppress, marginalize, make invisible, disenfranchise, harass, bully, intimidate, harm, abuse, and/or discriminate against plus size individuals.
Community: We nurture and develop a safe, vital, healthy, and evolving community for all plus size individuals, founded on integrity and collaboration while recognizing and valuing differences and seeking partnerships.
